Still in the gaming fever...

OMG. I'm in deep trouble now.

I CAN'T GET MY MIND OFF GAME PLAYING!!!!

This is disastrous! It has come to a stage in which I can't keep my fingers OR my eyes off game DISCS, guides and the random posters that I have. OMG. Tried to do a little bit of Chemistry today (after HuiYing frightened me with some msg asking me whether I've done Polymers' mcq... I was like, POLYMERS??? What's that???!!) but it was HORRIBLE, because all I could think of was owning a PSP.

....

Okay, in case you all are wondering why, actually HuiYing and I intend to share money to get OUR stuff. She wants a camera, and myself, a PSP of course (or Wii/ PS3/ Nintendo DS/ XBOX 360???) I'm sure you all have heard about SONY doing promotions like 'buy one camera and PSP for RM1xxx??

. . . .YEAH. We're gonna go get that set. She'll take the camera and I'll GRAB the PSP. It really IS cheap, if you think about it.

But I can't even afford a RM76.90 guidebook and I wanna go buy a RM799 PSP??? It's PRACTICALLY TIMES TEN!!!

Talking about guidebooks... YEAH.

Really appreciate Apek's generousity of lending (or giving??? XD XD) me these two.

They are kinda distracting me too. Oh Pat~!! Your FFX guide is still with me too. Safe and sound. Just a little exposed to my outrageous over-carressing occasionally. XD

CHECK OUT THE PRICE, PEOPLE.

And to add to all the distractions, I was INNOCENTLY walking on the street outside my house when this really pretty car passed by. GRABBED my handphone at the speed of light to take a photo but could only do THIS much. Good enough, I guess??

I'm sure 'ye FF fans out there can make up the image of Yuna's hair ON THE CAR!!!
OMG OMG OMG. I'm no big fan of Yuna but still....?!?! The timing and my current addiction to RPG really stirred up emotions when I saw this. XD

GAH. It's actually the beautiful blue Kenari in this photo. See Yuna on the car??? DO YOU SEE IT??? SEE IT???!!

AHEM. Don't blame me for the blurred out pics. What do you expect from a 2MP hp camera?? XD

Wouldn't it be nice to completely OWN that car??? *sighs in desperation*

I think too much about a certain absurdity called Final Fantasy XII.

Here goes nothing people:

I'VE FINISHED MY GOAL!!! AFTER SOME 110 HOURS OF PLAYING FINAL FANTASY XII PLUS LOSING SOME RM20++ ON DEFECTIVE DISCS THAT GETS ME STUCK AT THE PHON COAST....

I'VE FINISHED OFF VAYNE SOLIDOR AND WATCHED THE ENDING!!!

AND AFTER KILLING VAYNE I WAS SURPRISED AT HOW I GAMED OVER SO EASILY THE FIRST TIME.... BECAUSE VAYNE WAS SUCH A SMALL FRY. BWAHAHAHAHAHA. I CAN TALK BIG NOW~!

The Undying that took my life the first time.
Small fry compared to Yiazmat/ Omega/ Ultima/ Nabudis bosses/ Zodiark
!!

Not forgetting that I practically cried my head off at the ending scene where I THOUGHT *spoiler* Balthier was going to die.

Oh well~ I told you I only waste my tears on non-existent characters XD

I won't be able to touch FF12 til after STPM already, so, I've gotta wave my goodbyes to the PS2 from today onwards.

You don't think I'm done with the game, are you? :) I'm far from over~! That's the true spirit of a gamer!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm gonna obatin every esper, finish every hunt, and kill every single rare creature!! I'm gonna get ultimate weapons, playthrough ONE MORE TIME and then be truly done with the game.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA

And so here goes my ramblings over the beautiful story of Ivalice in which I fell in love with over and over again. Spoilers up!

SPOILERS START HERE.

The beautiful lands of Ivalice is a place where magick is common, and where airships rule the skies above. Transportation in the form of airships were common, and these airships were powered by none other than magicite. Magicite is manufactured from Mist, in which the vast lands of the Rozarrian empire is rich in.

The story revolves around the kingdom of Dalmasca, which is set in between the two empires, the Rozarrian Empire and the Archadian Empire that were constantly in war which each other. Already two years before the events at Final Fantasy 12, many small kingdoms have been subjugated by Archadia - kingdoms such as Nabudis.

Two years ago, in the capital city of Dalmasca, Rabanastre, the commonfolk celebrated the union of Princess Ashe of Dalmasca with Prince Rasler of Nabradia. However, the happiness of this union was shortlived, as Prince Rasler was sent out to the battlefront for Nabradia when his kingdom was attacked by the Archadian Empire. Prince Rasler was lost in this battle. Shortly, news was that the King of Dalmasca was assasinated by a traitor, the Dalmascan captain, Basch. Reks, an amateur knight, witnessed this assasination, however, he did not live long as he succumbed to his own injuries. It was announced that Basch had been executed; and that Princess Ashe took her own life after her many miseries.

Two years later, the story begins anew around a streetboy named Vaan, who is in actuality, the younger brother to Reks. Vaan lives off the streets of Rabanastre and is constantly watched over by his supportive friend, Penelo. On the day when Vayne from the House of Solidor (Archadia) was to be inaugurated as the consul in Rabanastre, Vaan decides to infiltrate the Royal Palace of Rabanastre. He is joined by Penelo. When travelling the Waterways to infiltrate the Palace, Vaan meets Balthier, a sky-pirate; and his travelling companion, a viera named Fran. They were after a magicite that Vaan supposedly took.

As they were escaping from the Waterways, their escape attempt was interrupted by a battle broken out between the Resistance and the Imperial troops. It was here that they met Asmalia, the head of the Resistance; who later turns out to be the fabled Princess Ashe of Dalmasca. Vaan and the group (but not Ashe) were then thrown into the Nalbina Dungeons in which they encountered Basch, the traitor who was supposedly executed! Basch reasons that the true assasin was not not him, but instead, his twin brother, Gabranth. Albeit hesitant to Basch's side of the story, they fled to Bhujerba from Nalbina. It was there and then that they met Lamont; whose true name is actually Lord Larsa, from the House of Solidor, the younger brother of Vayne Solidor.

The Marquis of Bhujerba detained the party and put them onboard the Leviathan, an Archadian airship, which was headed by Judge Ghis. Here, they were reunited with Ashe. Vaan's magicite was then confiscated by Ghis and sent to The Empire, for the magicite was proof of Ashe's royal lineage. The party defeated Ghis and returned to Bhujerba, however, now lacking the magicite, Ashe is unable to prove her own royal lineage. Ashe decides to travel the world and collects the treasures of Dynast-King Raithwall. The party agrees to support her and they acquired the Dawn Shard which is a piece of Nethicite from Raithwall's tomb. Ghis confiscates the Nethicite once again; and eager to see the powers the little shard contains, he experimented with it onboard the Leviathan. The shard destroyed the Leviathan and his fleet. Talk about curiosity kills the cat...?

Larsa later meets up with the party, suggesting that he wants to sign a peace treaty between the Dalmasca and the Empire. But before that, Ashe has to gain proof as Queen.

Ashe heads on to Mt. Bur-Omnisace to seek approval from the Gran Kiltias. Larsa contacts the Al-Cid, the member of the Rozarrian Empire's ruling family to avert the war between the empires. Larsa has been suspicious with his brother's involvement with magicite. The initial plan to announce Ashe's status as the rightful Queen of Dalmasca was thwarted when the Emperor of the Archadian Empire was assasinated by an Archadian senate! The Gran Kiltias however, hands the Sword of Kings to Ashe; that could destroy Nethicite. At that time, Judge Bergan from the Archadian Empire turns up and sends Larsa back after delivering news on the death of his father. He kills the Gran Kiltias and engages in battle with Vaan and the party.

Vaan and party successfully defeats Bergan. Ashe then heads to the Draklor Laboratory in Archades that houses all the Nethicite experiments that was carried out by a scientist called Dr. Cid. Cid leads them to the sacred city of Giruvegan, where the Sun Cryst is located. The Sun Cryst is the source and the Mother of Nethicite. Ashe however, was the only person in the entire party, who was recognised by the Occuria, as they spoke to her about the history of Dynast-Kings and its origins.

The immortal Occuria were the makers of the Sun Cryst and they were the ones who set the tracks of history. They hand on to Ashe, the Treaty Blade, in which Ashe can carve her own pieces of the Sun Cryst. The Occuria mentioned also about Venat, an Occuria heretic, who was a traitor to them and their knowledge, for Venat accompliced with Vayne to put the "reins of history back into Man's hands".

Cid's research was actually based on Venat's knowledge on Nethicite. Cid was obsessed with Nethicite after meeting Venat and visiting Giruvegan. It is then when Vayne's intentions became clear. Vayne wanted to rule all of Ivalice by becoming the new Dynast-King; free from the grasp of the Occuria - with the help of Nethicite. The destruction and subjugation of the smaller kingdoms by Archadia were actually indeed stepping stones in order to aid the study of Nethicite.

Ashe is undecided on whether to use the Sun Cryst for greater power to overthrow Vayne's plans - or to completely destroy it so as to be free from the Occuria and to avoid further abuse of Nethicite's power. Ashe travels to the Pharos in which the Sun Cryst is located. Aided by Reddas, a pirate who heads the port at Balfonheim, the party encounters Gabranth at the top of the Pharos. Gabranth admits to the assasination of the King of Dalmasca 2 years ago! Cid then arrives and revealed that he is indeed Balthier's father. (Which is why I would say that Cid's my FATHER-IN-LAW.) Cid harnessed the full power of the Sun Cryst using Nethicite. Reddas sacrificed his own life in order to destroy the Sun Cryst.

Returning to Balfonheim, Al-Cid interrupts the party with disturbing news. The final battle between the Archadian Empire and the Resistance was about to take place above Rabanastre! The Archadian Empire's mother fleet was the Sky Fortress Bahamut that was Nethicite-fueled. The weapons of the Sky Fortress were forged by harnessing the Mist that was released by the destruction of the Sun Cryst in the Pharos. Vaan and the party decide to infiltrate the Bahamut and confront Vayne using the Strahl for "to avert a war, you need not lose thousands".

In the Bahamut, the twin brothers, Basch and Gabranth (Noah), fight off in a final confrontation. After having lost all of his honour, Gabranth is fuelled only by one more purpose; which is the hatred for his brother who fled his homeland. After Gabranth's loss, he expressed that he was impressed by Basch's loyalty, and the dignity he had to defend the "someone he must protect". Gabranth remembers that to defend whatever honour he had left, he has to protect Lord Larsa.

Vaan's party then confronts Vayne and Larsa, who were at that time, arguing over Vayne's plot for power. Larsa, who objects strongly of his brother's actions then helped Vaan to defeat his own brother. Gabranth, seeing that he should use the rest of his remaining power to defend Larsa, aids Vaan and his party to defeat Vayne.

Vayne, although aided by Venat and manufactured Nethicite, lost to Vaan's team. After Vayne's defeat, Ashe, Larsa and 'Gabranth' (Basch) announces the end of the war. The party escapes from the Bahamut using the Strahl. However, Balthier and Fran stayed behind in the Bahamut to steer a now crumbling Bahamut away from the skies of Rabanastre.

Balthier's selfless act as he claims, "I'm the leading man," MADE ME CRY. OMG. It was this part when my house practically flooded. The Bahamut then crashed, and all contact with Balthier and Fran was lost. I almost thought my darling Balthier was lost!!! However...

A year later, Ashe is to be crowned as the Queen of Dalmasca. Basch then serves Lord Larsa who is now the Emperor of Archadia as that was his brother's dying wish. The story ends when Penelo and Vaan received news from Balthier and Fran who are at Bervenia. Penelo and Vaan decides to pay Balthier a little visit before Ashe's coronation as Queen. Little did they know that that is the start of a new exciting tale.

END OF SPOILER.

(All these spoilers are improving my English larrr. Woo-hoo! XD)

.... MAN, I can't believe I wrote another ESSAY on something absolutely.... ficticious!

But, I have to say that this game would be on top of my best games list. Despite hearing that many people dislike its storyline (no sappy love story!! XD), I was actually very impressed by the entirely unpredicatable storyline plus its fantastic gameplay.

All the more, the "leading man" Balthier definitely spices this game up all the more!!

Special thanks to Adrian's book that I REALLY want to possess right now. ARGHHHHHHHH.

Fuuuhhhhh! Three posts in a day! And the most non-Rebecca post is the longest. My neck and shoulders are all stiff now. Worth it anyway for such a fantastic game. BWAHAHAHAHAHA

12:02 AM

Jumbled pictures and the like.

Found some really, uh... strange pics in my comp, so I'll just put whatever I find up here....

..... BECAUSE I WANT MY TOTAL POSTS UP TO MY BLOG TO HIT 200.

So, here goes nothing~

At the MBS Food Carnival~!

Proud to say that MBS made loads of money during this event, and that the rain did not stop this event from turning out into a complete success. It was really fun (despite me lining up for some 45 minutes to buy BURGERS???) and memorable~!

And of course I'll NEVER ever forget the incident in the Ghost House at Dewan Budaya in which I got my most severe nosebleed to date when I saw NICHOLAS (not you Nick Ma!!XD) half naked as Ju-On.

... OKAY! I exaggerated!! He wasn't THAT exposed at all, but you know me, my nosebleeds are pretty devastating!!!

Anyway, on that day, I successfully scared the ghost instead of the ghost scaring me.

... I DON'T think I should be proud of that... eh?

A MASK. Prevent H1N1 people!!

Mr Lim Bok Seng gave this to HuiYing but she didn't want to wear it, so I WORE it instead. Oh, in case you're wondering what was written on it, it says...

"I'm Rebecca. I Love HuiYing~!" & some random signatures around.

Not forgetting, I readily walked the whole school wearing this mask~! Pretty daring, eh? BWAHAHAHAHA

Ah Hooi and I~!

It's very rare to get a photo with Ah Hooi ya know?? This was taken during Speech Day!!! In Shaw Hall!!

I think we were trying to look serious, but as usual, I failed miserably~

To add, someone said I looked like I had a stomach ache and would-be-constipating-soon syndrome.

THE ONLY TIME I LOOK SERIOUS....
... is when I watch anime or the like. Sheesh.

Tada~! Complete randomness!

Lose Your Soul at Seoul Garden??

I think I did. Because the food was soooooooo good, I undoubtedly put on some 3kg and a whole lot of H1N1-cough-like symptoms after steamboat/BBQ last Saturday (22 Aug).

DO EAT AT SEOUL GARDEN. FANTASTIC FOOD. MUST TAKE THE CHICKEN!
I ate some 5kg of chicken that day, I think. And one whole COMB of bananas maybe?? BWAHAHAHAHAHA. You read that right, darlings~ BANANAS.

We MBSians acted like how we normally act... ransacked the foodstuff, messed up tables, laughed like psychopaths and each time we talked it was like an atomic bomb went off.

....

AHEM.

Try not to salivate when you scroll down. BWAHAHAHAHA. Shows how fantastic a chef I am!!!(Try to avoid reading the fine prints, will you? XD)
(... in actuality, I was doing all the eating while Jill and Adrian cooked for me, while HuiYing darling did all the peeling. XD I'm a chef extraordinaire!)

Our table started out pretty tidy in the beginning.... IT IS TIDY!!

But somehow we were all in awe whenever the restaurant guy came to change our BBQ set. GAHAHAHAHAHA my table ate so much that we changed the set some 3-4 times. XD

PRAWNS ARE FOOD NOT FRIENDS!
(Nemo thought me this.)

This BRILLIANT recipe of prawn barbequing firstly by using oil and prawn, then peeling the prawns and then later RE-barbequing it was founded by none other than....

.... HUIYING DARLING!!! PRAWN CHEF EXTRAORDINAIRE!!!

Yeah, darlings. She's the one behind all the 2kg of prawns that I ate. AND, in case you are wondering what in the world is that shish-kebab thingy that she's holding, they're actually called BANANAS.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA

.... I'm just getting on to the bananas thing. THIS IS THE REAL PURPOSE FOR SERVING BANANAS -

- USE BANANAS as base for cooking!! Prevents cancer!!!
(charcoal being carcinogenic?)

Being the brilliantly creative geniuses that we were, Jill, Adrian, HuiYing and I were fooling around with FRIED bananas barbequed in ice cream. And thanks to Jill and Adrian's secretly mischeivous acts, we all ate SATAY sauce with ice cream like nobody's business. (Thanks to that, my toilet visits were pretty frequent the day after.)

I seriously think this was what people meant by going bananas. XD

I think Jel darling forgot that she wasn't at home?

Jelissa darling then surprised us Ex-MGSians with ex-MGSians... when JEMIMAH darling and Vayshi darling emerged from thin air!!! What was MOST frightening was that Vayshi darling COULD GET THINNER than she already was in Form 5.

Am I the only person here putting on weight??!!

Jel, me and HuiYing. In which I was trying to conceal my big and full stomach.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA

Best ASS/MONS in MBS!!!

We then decided to go watch a movie. THAT was really chaotic! Jel wanted to watch Up, MingYen and HuiYing wanted to watch Beth Cooper, Vin, Juju, Jill, Adrian and I wanted to watch District 9.

Which ended up in MYen and Jel arguing over what movie to watch...?

. . .

Speechless. He was wearing Jel's earrings. OMG.

Anyway, District 9 was.... HMMMM. Loved aliens, and I'm all for alien rights right now!! Go aliens!! Your technology rocks!! (or rather... 'zaps'???) I'm in love with aliens and technology right now~ Go laser beams and DNA recognition!!!

Phew. Tired out my wallet that day. Bought some book on Malaysian politics. Interesting~! Shall share some stuff some other day... XD

11:56 PM

I... DEFINITELY think too much.

It's about Final Fantasy XII this time! BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

Are you up to the game?

No worries, people! I'm no playing/ watching/ reading machine!! After my very tragic and desperate loss to The Undying, I finally decided to catch up with some Hunt Marks, find Espers and level up. I'm proud of myself~!! In just about ten hours, I managed to upgrade my rank from Vanguard to Paragon of Justice!!

... okay, may not sound like much to many, but it's quite a huge acheivement for me, ya know?

Who wouldn't fall for the beautiful world of Ivalice?

The Official Walkthrough is really tempting. Perhaps I shall invest in it one day? If I manage my finances correctly... I may save up enough money by end of this year for it. But before I think about that...

...Let me reveal a very frightening observation that I noticed in the official guide.

Ready for the REVELATION?

The stats shown in the guide included a level 99 Vaan, about lvl 87 Fran and lvl 88 Ashe for the main party. The supporting party consisted of a lvl 58 Balthier, a lvl 68 Basch and a lvl 63 Penelo.

Got the gist of it?

...

DID YOU ALL NOTICE HOW THE LOWEST LEVEL MEMBER IN THE PARTY IS BALTHIER???!!!! THIS IS UNFORGIVABLE!!!!

Balthier's so HORRIBLY charming that there would be NO WAY that you can leave him out of any battle at all!!! LET alone be a part of the secondary party ONLY???!! And how can VAAN, an ordinary slumboy-aspiring-to-be-an-annoying-skypirate POSSIBLY be at a higher level than the EXTRAORDINARY prodigy, Balthier??

.... FUH, Beckz. Relax.

AND, if you think that THAT piece of observation was frightening, wait til you hear/read this one. Scroll down, people.

The guide shows that their gametime is 705:13:45. If you need a translation for that, it's read as 705 HOURS, 13 MINUTES and 45 SECONDS. What the...??? Does that mean I have to spend 700 HOURS just trying to train my lil darlings up to lvl 99??!!! I was amazed by the fact that I almost spent 97 hours playing FF12 and this fellow who wrote the guide took 705 HOURS??? (My 97 hours would account to almost 10-15 hours stuck at the Phon Coast. Ahaha. Not forgetting that, are we?? XP Thanks to that, I have a phobia of doing any sidequests/hunts around that area. My heart almost collapsed when I had to go to the Vaddu Strand at the Phon Coast to kill some kind of stupid test mark.)

Anyway, 705 HOURS? No way. But I'll throw in, at my best (AND most) 200 hours. And those hours will be dedicated to completing the Bestiary and obtaining all Espers. Forget the Zodiac Spear! I've got more to target for. BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

Did I just say I wanted to complete the bestiary? OMG.

I've got huge plans for my Kingdom Hearts too. I must defeat Sephiroth despite all odds!! I'm gonna do it for both Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts 2!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

.... Of course, all of that will only take place after STPM. *groans*

Here's to game playing and a fantastic one week holiday!!! I SERIOUSLY need to finish this game to get some temporary peace of mind (at least until STPM is over).

Gabranth; know that your honour is the greatest when you stand for Lord Larsa,
the one you believe in.

Cheers~!

12:33 AM

I think too much about a certain absurdity named Naruto.

AHHHHHHHH!!! Who would have thought that I could get all hyped up over Naruto this time??

I've been reading the manga recently, and eventhough I'm HORRIBLY annoyed with the unbecoming character of its, uh... characters. (Espeically Sakura who seems to be less and less helpful; what more, playing such a diminishing role throughout the course of this series.)

I'm got loads to say and comment even though I'm hardly very obsessed about anyone in Naruto right now. (unlike my recent RE-addiction to Asch von Fabre / Asch the Bloody of TotA *nosebleeds at the mere thought*) Everyone seems to be growing up rather... uh, gay-ish-ly.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA suits me well, yup??

...... anyway.

Warning to all ye people out there: this post contains MAJOR SPOILERS on Naruto/ Naruto Shippuden and Naruto the manga (up to Chapter 455 at least?) so SKIP it at all costs if you wish to rescue yourself from my utter ramblings.

SPOILERS UNLEASHED:

.... IT'S A REAL HUGE SPOILER YA KNOW.

NO REGRETS READING THIS AND
THEN BLAMING ME IN THE END, YUP.

Okay....

I don't know how many of my pals out there are fans of Naruto, but I surely am. The storyline is just amazingly out-of-this-world that even I'm still sitting at the edge of my seat even after having to watch up til episode 330 (for now)! Absurd, I know, but true. Naruto can be very thought-provoking at times~

I still remember when Naruto started out as an annoying brat in the Konohagakure (Konoha village) whom everyone despised and looked down upon. He was shunned by the society, and he was only naughty to gain attention of the very same villagers who hated him so. Never knowing maternal or paternal love from young, the only care and attention he ever got was from a sensei by the name of Umino Iruka.

One fateful day, Iruka caught Mizuki (another ninja of Iruka's rank) attempting to steal a secret scroll from the Konoha archives. Mizuki was planning to frame Naruto for it! Somehow, when Iruka entangled himself between the fine boundaries of life and death, Naruto mastered the art of the scroll, the Kagebunshin no Jutsu, and rescued Iruka with it. Naruto was then awarded a pass by Iruka and was rightfully ranked a genin.

It was then that Naruto learnt that he was despised because he was a Jinchuuriki, a host to one of the legendary demons, the Nine-Tailed Beast, Kyuubi. The 4th Hokage had sacrificed his own life to seal this beast into Naruto in order to save the village he fought for and loved.

Naruto the Jinchuuriki and Kyuubi, the Nine-Tailed Beast: Could this be fate?

Starting out as a member of Team 7 together with Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha, the three were led and taught by the renowned Jounin, Kakashi Hatake, the Copy-Nin.

The three grew together not only in physique and skills but also came to accept one another as comrades and friends. The three were selected by Kakashi to join the Chuunin Examinations that would determine whether they could go up one rank to bear the title Chuunin.

Little did anyone expect that Orochimaru, one of the three legendary Sannins of Konoha, was dubiously planning a surprise attack during this examination. His ultimate goal was Sasuke, for the Uchiha clan possessed a bloodline limit called the Sharingan. Orochimaru strives for immortality, in which his soul would occupy bodies of others while being able to use both his jutsu and the vessel's. And the powerful Sharingan was his target.

Orochimaru placed a Cursed Seal on Sasuke, and beckoned Sasuke to him. Orochimaru then aliased with Sunagakure to destroy Konoha. Sabaku no Gaara, a Jinchuuriki for the One-Tailed Beast, Shuuhaku, was a mere pawn in completing Orochimaru's evil plans. The havoc in Konoha, followed by a one-on-one show down battle between Orochimaru and the Third Hokage ended in the death of Konoha's Kage.

Jiraiya, one of the three Sannins, was chosen to be the next village Hokage. However, he pushed the job on to Lady Tsunade, the third of the legendary Sannins. Jiraiya had a task that he needed to fulfill. One that would take him around the world collecting information.

The three legendary Sannins: Brought up together -
but their future each lie in three completely separate pathways.

During this time, Sasuke, filled with jealousy and the need for revenge against his brother, decided to follow Orochimaru. He wanted nothing more but to kill his own flesh and blood who was rumoured to have killed his entire Uchiha clan several years ago. He went after Orochimaru, seeking for greater power and no words from his former comrades, Naruto and Sakura, would get to him.

Naruto then went to train with Jiraiya for 2 and a half years. It was during his trip with Jiraiya that he learnt about a secret organisation called the Akatsuki. Akatsuki was hunting down Jinchuurikis to obtain the power of all the Tailed Beasts in order to create the world's most feared weapon of war. Naruto and Gaara were not spared from the hunt.

Gaara and Naruto: The weight of world peace lies upon their shoulders.

Shippuden really shows how its characters mature with time as the series slowly lost the humour that it had in the first season. The plot is fantastic; juggling the events between Orochimaru, Sasuke, the Akatsuki and Konoha. Some things remained the same though. For example, Naruto stays as stupidly annoying as ever, having promised Sakura he would bring back Sasuke. (which actually feels as gay as it sounds.) Kakashi remains ever so perverted, alike Jiraiya, while Tsunade is still the Baa-chan that she refuses to admit. Shikamaru's still lazy, and his favourite phrase is still, "Troublesome." Kiba's still dumb, Hinata's still shy, Gaara's still stiff, Ino's still loud and Chouji's fatter than ever! Shino, however, became much funnier to watch. BWAHAHAHAHA.

In Naruto Shippuden, the plot thickens with loads of tear jerking moments which included the loss of Asuma Sarutobi to the Akatsuki. At the time of his death, his lover, Kurenai, was bearing his baby! The explosive start in Shippuden featured the near death of Sabaku no Gaara, who is the Kazekage of Sunagakure in a battle with Akatsuki. The slow but exciting reveal of the Akatsuki members, which includes Sasuke's brother, Itachi, was well planned and nerve racking!
The Akatsuki: All for world dominance?

...ready for even MORE spoilers? XD

Who would have guessed that Sasuke would rise far greater than Orochimaru itself? Who would have guessed that the ANBU had such a deep secret within its organisation? Who would have guessed that the Elders in Konoha were against Tsunade? Who were the members of the fearful Akatsuki? Did you know that Orochimaru was part of Akatsuki? Or rather that.... Sasuke could kill someone even the 3rd Hokage couldn't kill?

So many clouded conspiracies circling the Uchiha clan was cleared. Nobody would have guessed that the head behind the Akatsuki is a living Uchiha. Not just ANY Uchiha, but Uchiha Madara! The very founder of the clan itself! AND, nobody would have guessed that Itachi was actually framed by the very village he loved and protected! And all that because of a certain idiot behind the scenes named Danzo, who was pulling all the strings?! Who knew that Itachi was going blind, thanks to his Mangekyo Sharingan? He wasn't a prodigy, he was a slave to his father and his father's dreams!!

And if you think that's the end of it, think again. All these secrets about the Uchiha clan was finally cleared because SASUKE KILLED HIS OWN BROTHER. And now, having known the exposed truth behind Konoha's dirty politicking, Sasuke is set to destroy his own hometown with his own bare hands.

... interesting, eh? And we're only getting started!

Nobody would have predicted the death of Jiraiya to his own fellow disciple, Pain. Or the deaths of Shizune and even Kakashi in battlefield when Pain attacked Konoha? Or that Naruto grew so much that he was able to defeat Pain single-handedly? Or that Pain could use Forbidden Jutsus to revive the lives of those he took at the cost of his own life?

What about the aftermath of Pain's attacks? It costed Tsunade to go into a deep coma, and this opened the path for Danzo to steal the leadership of Konoha! Imagine Danzo being the Hokage! And... have you ever wondered what was behind the mask over Danzo's right eye? You've got it right if you gussed it as.... the Sharingan!!

On Naruto's side of the story.... how he felt when he knew that his father was the 4th Hokage himself, who sealed the Kyuubi inside his own son? And what happened when Naruto lost so much control over himself that he metamorphosised into eight tails?!?!

And Hinata... Hinata really did let her feelings out for Naruto IN THE END. OMG. OMG. OMG.

OMG. I'm in awe of the entire plot.

END OF SPOILERS.

That's one whole long terrible spoiler, I'm telling you. I'm sorry but I had to let go of some steam. It was so, so, so EXCITING! Getting all this worked up over Asch and Naruto is putting a big toll on my heart. BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

I declare that I love all things non-existent. Support Naruto by watching and becoming a fan, people!! Be as addicted to it as I am!! OMG~!!

*fangirl squeals*

10:54 PM

I think too much about a certain absurdity named Asch.

I'm loving Tales of the Abyss. *swoon*

I don't know why Tales of the Abyss (TotA) never fails to put my thoughts into an overdrive. Could it be the sheer thought of flaming red hot Asch?? Or the absurdly fantastic storyline which can be THIS thought provoking?? Or is Luke's annoying stature getting to me??

I really miss the gameplay! Loved its fantastic, easy-to-control, simple yet fun battle system.

Whatever it is, APEK, if you're reading this and are in search of a RPG with a fantastic storyline to play, DO PLAY IT!!! ( On another note, I tried to kill Vayne at lvl 45 (highest character) and pretty much died out like a squished rat. XD Thanks to the Undying. I was so close!! Grrr!!! I'll train up. BWAHAHAHAHA)

Anyway, this whole mad post contains HUGE spoilers (as always) for the whole TotA storyline (anime/game), so do NOT read if you intend to keep the story uh, pure and untainted. Ahahaha.

Here goes nothing...

Okay, all of this madness of mine resurfaced the instant I started watching TotA the anime these few days. I am surprised and PLEASED that they added fillers in on Asch's past!!! Gahahaha from my previous blog layouts and endless Asch tirades in the past, I know you all get what I mean. I'm Asch obsessed!! And I'm proud to say my love for Asch has reignited!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Despite constantly comparing between Asch and Luke (with Asch being the BETTER one of course) I suddenly have this ridiculous observation that they are barely very different at all. And here goes my nonsensical motion of thoughts...

Luke and Asch: bounded together by their unfathomable destiny?

After events at Akzeriuth, remember how Luke's fon slots synchronised with Asch's since they're perfect isofons? And Luke could see and experience whatever Asch was seeing? Initially when I played the game, I always thought Asch was the more matured one. But after INSPECTING Asch in the anime... my darling Asch can be pretty childish at times.

Asch says he forgives Jade (oh, Jade~!! Jade the Necromancer! Jade the Father of Fomicry! Jade the sarcastic!! Jade the 'yeng'!!! *nosebleeds*) for he says that the past cannot be reversed.
Jade Curtiss: Father of Fomicry

Yet, Asch holds the STRONGEST grudge against replicas for his past that he has lost to Luke!! What irony. Asch saya that one should not hold on to the past becasue it changes nothing, but yet, he's betraying Van just because of the 'replica world' Van had intended! Pure irony.
Vandesdelca Grants: Asch's happiness-wrecker.

Like I said in an earlier post on TotA... Van's recreation of Hod, the destruction and the resurrection of Auldrant - it would all have been successful if he had connected better with Asch to establish an understanding on his masterplan. Van would have succeeded if not for Asch's intervention... since Luke and his team are all pretty slow on picking up things (and now I noticed, among the slowest to pick up would be Fon Master Ion... who's not even real. Uh...? Anyway, who goes around demanding Fon Masters to open Daathic seals on Sephiroths for no particular intention??!!)
Fon Master Ion (best replica)
...still gonna ask me why I think he's slowest to pick up on things...? XD

Asch really had a harsh past, and Van should have realised that above all his masterplans. Or... maybe Van had been too adventurous with his plans, that in the end... he forgot even to consider human feelings? I don't remember Asch having any flashbacks when he was a kid when I played it on the game. But when I watched the anime, there was a little dream Asch had (after the Ortion Cavern event while Luke was still unconscious in Yulia City) and it got my tear glands activated.

.... WATCHING IT ALMOST MADE ME CRY!!!! (Oh, Asch!!)

BWAHAHAHAHA, yeah, I'm THAT emotional when it comes to non-existent things.

Anyway, in that filler, Asch dreamt of how he suffered the moment his life began. His royal birth, his future in the Score, the roles he would play in bringing forth peace to Kimlasca - IT WAS ALL PREDETERMINED! The burden itself, of carrying the name, "Luke" was so immense that his future was tied down the instant his Score was read. Kidnapped by Van, he was left tortured in fonic devices just to extract his powers that were so-called "needed to preserve the world". The pain in which he felt as he was locked in a cell, because of his predetermined "fate" caused him to flee from Van's custody as he searched for the place he called home. After ardously fighting for his life to return to Baticul - all he received was a shove from his OWN house guards!! He was shun away from his own home BECAUSE of a mere non-existent being, a replica, who replaced him; STOLE his family, his future, his love!!

.... I cried like nuts.

I was so taken aback by Asch's suffering, and I blame it on Van.

Why was Asch replicated in the first place? Van could have very well used Asch; knowing Asch's naivety, he would have given Van his consent. Why was there the need for replica Luke? And if Van had to replicate Asch, let's say to preserve his power, why put Luke back in Baticul? Why let the wheels of the Score to determine Luke's fate?? After all, Van's plan was to slide off from the hinges of the Score!!

It was unacceptable for him to let Asch shoulder all the misery, the pain, and the rejection.

Why hadn't Van realised that creating a replica world to escape the Score gives birth to nothing but a whole bunch of er... mere replicas? Replicas don't think for themselves; they are devoid of emotion and wisdom. They are just vessels that possess proportions of fonons and matter in equilibrium to its human counterpart. All in all, replicas have a limited lifespan! Should they die, all existense shall be wiped out!!!

....

(I have no idea why I'm getting so completely worked up over a game. XD)

If they wanted a world free from the Score, why not just stop Score reading? Score reading; after all, is the doing or the Order of Lorelei by the power of Seventh Fonists.... right? Or, why not destroy the Fonstones instead of keeping them around to lead people into a life shackled by the Score? I absolutely salute Van for he is a warrior in my eyes; a hero who defends his ideologies and furthermore, is brave enough to go full steam ahead with a seemingly impossible task. It's just that his methods are undeniably wrong.

However, after having said all that... I will never forget the pain he has inflicted upon my Asch. XP
What I love about the anime is that the graphics are almost similar to the game itself, and nothing much on the storyline has changed~
The kind of ending I would love for my darling Asch: that he'd be with Natalia.
UNFORTUNATELY, some IDIOT just HAD to die for an outrageously STUPID reason.

END OF SPOILER.

I'm glad that game playing has evolved so much that it has become so absolutely thought provoking. Or would I just summarise this utter nonsensical post as my scorching love for Asch?? BWAHAHAHAHA. I think I'll have more to say after completely finishing the anime. If given a new TotA disc, darlings, I would gladly play it all over again and complete every darn sidequest it has to offer. XD
*hearts* ~I'll never get sick of Asch~ *hearts*

Oooh. And once I finish off annoying Venat and the undying Vayne Solidor, you readers are gonna experience another whole hoard of spoilers and nonsensical ramblings from me. Happy reading!

Yours truly, G.O.T. XD

12:42 AM

Positive.

OOOOH! I forgot to mention something. As part of my dedication to my holiday plans of fun and enjoyment (and some studying) - my first success would be finishing Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae! Yippee!! That's a positive achievement as a start!! OKAYYYYYYYYY!! Gonna try to finish WATCHING Abyss.

Somehow watching Abyss makes me feel like playing that idiot Luke all over again. But darn my disc. It keeps cranking up everywhere.

And for JSMitsuganae? Am I the only oine who thinks Yuzumi is annoying? I'd prefer Enma Ai anytime.

12:22 AM

It's OVER~!!!

The gruelling 2 weeks (well, MUCH less than that) of exams are finally OVER~!!!

And we shall be celebrating this victory and triumph our mental strength has shown us for the past few weeks by - barbequing our throats away tomorrow!! (somewhere in GP)

To summarize, Bio was shocking, Maths was sad, PA was heart-attacking, and Chem was..... FAILING. Scratch that - I'm definitely failing Chem this time around~! I am hoping for at least 30 marks in Chem...? But forget it, I barely even answered enough questions to get 30 marks.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

HuiYing darling!!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY DARLING!!!!

I hoped you like my mushroom soup. Wanted to prank you on Monday, but guess I failed badly at that too. BWAHAHAHAHA.
Your celebration party on Wednesday would have been a huge success (and in a bigger surprise) if MingYen wasn't half as blur as she was that day. XD On a happier note, thank you for letting me finish your cake. I took the biggest piece in which Juju hadn't sliced yet~

This week was a blast thanks to poor attendance in school!

.... that sentence sounds wrong - but its true. XD

Last Thursday, us old chaps relieved our primary youthfulness by playing all sorts of silly games in class. Dunno which BUFFALO (XD) suddenly thought about exercising in class...? BWAHAHAHAHA. Next thing I knew, Jill, Sumi, Kiru, Ama, YokeYee, Debz (maybe? Did you join in??) and I started playing Pepsi Cola in class. And it didn't end at that! We played John Mechanic, A.E.I.O.U. , Ozom and many more.

I'm sad to say that us old buffalos were all too tired out after 1 hour of endless playing. But we weren't tired because we were running from one another; we were tired - BECAUSE we LAUGHED TOO MUCH. Talk about old age....

Anyway, this short week is gonna be packed with loads of anime watching, game-catching up, plenty of sleep, even more food.... and a teensy-weensy of studying?

Someone slap me and tell me STPM is just NINE weeks away!!!!

.... On another note, God bless me while I recuperate from my hideous cough.

And ShengZheng, Mummy here loves you~!!! Get well soon!! I miss seeing your beautiful face in school!!!

.... I'm a G.O.T., and keep that in mind to clear all misconceptions, readers. Ciao.

RAKYAT DIDAHULUKAN.

I'm having this funny ironic feeling everytime I look at the news. Do the higher ups really uphold their promises when they say, 'people first, performance now'?

I'm definitely in full support of 1Malaysia. The word harmony ties all the different textures and gradients of a painting in one full explosive synchronisation of colours. Exactly what we need to revamp our Malaysia. United we stand, divided we fall.

But I can't help to notice the irony behind 'people first, performance now'. We, as the common citizens of Malaysia, really feel abandoned in the course of this H1N1 pandemic. How long more must we wait before more drastic actions are taken in favour of the public? How many more loved ones are going to be lost before someone realises that death rates are barely just statistics?

We are heavily hit by this health crisis and yet the Merdeka parade must go on? How many thousand lives will be put to risk just to celebrate an event on that large a scale?

Truth be told, I barely even feel the Merdeka spirit with all the 'boom boom bam' in our country. Are we still sitting around doing nothing but enjoying our 53 years of independence?

Oh my, are we 53 already?

Juvenile thoughts.

Hmmm. Was reading others blogs and am once again surprised by the difference in the level of maturity between myself and others. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

At least I'm not stressed, see?

Sometimes we've just gotta take things as it is. Life isn't a bed of roses and it is our own authority to make it the kind of life we all dream of.

And we might as well stay childish as long as our age permits us to be. BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

Why do Malaysians march?

I found this extremely interesting comment in The Sun today. And so I will share.

Published under Comment in The Sun 3.08.09
by Yeo Yang Poh

WHY march, when the government has said that it will review the Internal Security Act? Why march, when there are other cosy ways of giving your views and feedback?

One would understand if these were questions posed by nine-year-olds. But they are not. They are questions posed by the prime minister of this nation we call our home. Answer we must. So, why?

Because thousands who died while in detention cannot march or speak anymore. That is why others have to do it for them.

Becasue persons in the corridors of power, persons who have amassed tremendous wealth and live in mansions, and persons who are in the position to right wrongs won't, continue to rule our nation with suffocating might. And they would certainly not march. They would prevent others from marching.

Because the have-nots, the side-lined, the oppressed, the discrimiated and the persecuted have no effective line to the powerful.

Because the nice ways have been tried ad nauseam for decades, but have fallen on deaf ears. Because none of the major recommendations of SUHAKAM (including on peaceful assembly), or of the commisions of inquiry, has been implemented. Because the proposed Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commision (IPMAC) is not in sight, while corruption and insecurity live in every neighbourhood; and (despite reasoned views expressed ever so nicely in opposition), RELA is being brought in to make matters worse.

The proponents in "Su Qiu" (remember them?) were not marchers. In fact, it is hard to find nicer ways than "su qiu" because the term means "present and request" or "inform and request". In terms of putting forward a view or request, it is thge height of politeness. Yet they were labelled as 'extremists' - they who did not march.

And now you ask, why march?

Because you gave the non-marchers a false name! You called them the "silent majority", who by virtue of their silence (you proudly argued with twisted logic) were supporters of government policies since they were not vocal in raising objections. You claimed to be protecting the interest of the "silent majority". Now some of them don't want to be silent anymore, and you are asking why?

Yes, because double standards and hypocrisy cannot be covered up or explained away forever; and incompetence cannot be indefinitely propped up by depleting resources.

Because cronyism can only take care of a few people, and the rest will eventually wake up to realise the repeated lies that things were done in certain ways purportedly " for their benefit".

Because the race card, cleverly played for such a long time, is beginning to be seen for what it really is - a despicable tool to divide the rakyat for easier political manipulation.

Because it does not take much to figure out that there is no good reason why Malaysia, a country with abundant human resources and rich natural resources, does not have a standard of living many times higher than that of Singapore, an island state with no natural resources and has to import human resources from Malaysia and elsewhere.

Because, in general, countries that do not persecute marchers are prosperous or are improving from their previous state of affairs, and those that do are declining.

Because Gandhi marched, Mandela marched, Martin Luther King marched, and Tunku Abdul Rahman marched.

Because more and more people realise that peaceful assemblies are no threat at all to the security to the nation, although they are a threat to the security of tenure of the ruling elite.

Because politicians do not mean it when they say with a straight face or a smile that they are the servants and that the people are the masters. No servant would treat his master with tear gas, batons and handcuffs.

Because if the marchers in history had been stopped in their tracks, places like India, Malaysia and many others would still be in colonies today, apartheid would still be thriving in Sounth Africa, Nelson Mandela would still be scribbling on the walls of Cell 5, and Obama would probably be a slove somewhere in Mississippi plotting to make his next midnight dash for the river.

And because liberty, freedom and dignity are not free vouchers posted out to each household. They do not come to those who just sit and wait. They have to be fought for, and gained.

And if you still want to ask: why march; I can go on and on until the last tree is felled. But I shall obviously not.

I will end with the following lines from one of the songs sung in the 1960s by civil rights marchers in the US, without who Obama would not be able to sit with the whites in a bus, let alone reside in the White House:

"It isn't nice to block the doorway
It isn't nice to go to jail
There are nicer ways to do it
But the nice ways have all failed
It isn't nice, it isn't nice
You've told us once, you've told us twice
But if that's freedom's price
We don't mind...."

... and I seriously applaud this Yeo Yang Poh for speaking up for the sake of fellow Malaysians. It's time something needs to be done.

How long haven't I been here???

First of all, how'd you all like this cool layout? I need to familiarise with it a little bit more before I further make it my own. XD

GAH. My posts are becoming as irregular as Aimy's. Noooooooooooo!!!

Pardon my little randomness. Whoops.

Anyway, I thought this next photo would be really, um... ironic because I took this photo using my handphone in school.
I'm not that naughty, in case that's what you all are thinking... (in case there are any random prefects out there reading this) I took this during Hari Ibu Bapa or something.

TADA!

I'll never forget this beautiful sign in Dewan Budaya which is largely ignored most of the time. I'll miss that signboard...

Before I go around declaring my love for inanimate objects, well... here's a glimpse of what the prizewinners do during Speech Day. XD

I was largely surprised because of cute Ah Hooi's open-ness~!! She CAN play on the handphone~!!

Ah Hooi playing tennis on her handphone~!! Surprised??

I was somewhere next to her probably busy gambling or something with HuiYing. BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

Next are the three top beauties/cuties of the Science stream....

*faint*
Oops. I caught myself there unprepared... of course I fainted because the gay is too gorgeous.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA XD (I think it's been a long time since I said that??)

I hereby interrupt this ridiculous post with some VERY IMPORTANT NEWS.

THE GAY OF TOMORROW IS BACK!!

...

... and so, for the highlight of the Speech Day (excluding the disastrous performances) is definitely a display of boy-boy, uh, FRIENDSHIP (ppl who know me better are probably on the same wavelength as I am.... XD) of the two Form 5 boys sitting in front of me.

TA-DA~!!!

Left: Ah Hone's brother, Wei Huang. Right: Wai Ee
.... The Two Khaws...
*faint terus*

I almost died from a massive nosebleed there behind them AND yet they remain oblivious to my life-threatening anaemic situation.... *mumble mumble*

*DEEP BREATH*

.... shall continue putting up ridiculous pics of ppl in MBS when I recover in due time.

*massive nosebleeding*
