Yet another Naruto Ranting. Whee~!

SPOILERS UP TO MANGA CHAPTER 479.

You have been warned, and I'm pretty sure Manda darling will be pleased since she lost the drive to continue Naruto-ing. :) As for myself, I caught up 30 chapters just today and am PLEASED that the manga is completely filler-free unlike the anime~!! Shippuden from episode 144 onwards is yet another filler (and was just released last week) so if you wanna watch filler-free stuff...

YESSSSS~!! I'm a Naruto fanatic!!!

..Alrighty, right down to those thrilling spoilers. YA-HAAAA!

SPOILER GALORE STARTS HERE FOR THOSE WHO ARE ACTUALLY INTERESTED. XD

A quick recap:

So, last I stopped was where Sasuke joined Akatsuki under Taka, hunted for the Hachibi (8th-Tailed Beast) and had supposedly handed over the Hachibi to Madara Uchiha. Meanwhile, in Konoha, Pein came, saw and destroyed but Naruto somehow TALKED him over using his power of persuasion and 'defeated' Pein. An anti-climatic battle seeing how the powerful Pein was so easily defeated! ARGHHHHHH. Defeated by WORDS, who would have imagined that??!!

Anyway, so as to not infuriate me, I shall not go into details bout how Naruto transformed into 8-tails. Or that he met his father, the 4th Hokage in his alter-dimension where the Kyuubi resides. Or the incest that is so evidently displayed among the last Uchiha brothers.

OOPS. I ran out of topic. GAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Yaoi's bad for health! NYAHAHAHAHAHA~

BACK TO WHERE I WAS. Ahem. Right. Pein died, Kakashi is revived, Shizune breathes again, but the 5th Hokage, Tsunade, where art thou??!! Lying deep in slumber after overworking her Kuchiyose no Jutsu to disperse her chakra to injured comrades. Hmm. Danzo takes over, even though Jounins prefer Hatake Kakashi, the son of the White Fang to take over as 6th Hokage. Hmm.

Suddenly these buncha nins came under direct orders from the Raikage, to inform the Hokage that a world-breaking meeting between the 5 Kages will be held for the first time after the end of the 3rd Great Ninja War!! Guess what? Sasuke attacked and 'captured' KillerBee/8-Tailed Beast Jinchuuriki who also happens to be the Raikage's beloved brother!

... In other words, Uchiha Sasuke now becomes a wanted INTERNATIONAL killer.

Danzo, being idiotically think-skinned enough to assume the post as 6th Hokage himself (with backing from Roots and those dumb Elders) set off to the 5 Kage meeting after sending out orders to KILL SASUKE. (Whee~! YAY!) Naruto hears these orders and so... YOU KNOW HOW GAYLY HE WILL REACT. Naruto plans to go meet the Raikage and beg his KNEES off for him to release Sasuke. So he decides to follow Danzo secretly to the 5 Kage meeting.

Danzo meets resistance along the way and POOF! releases his right eye bandage revealing nothing other than the - SHARINGAN!

So, that ends the recap. Pretty long, no?

So the thrilling new bit starts! Sasuke finds out that Danzo is heading to the Kage meeting thanks to Madara's intel. Madara tells Sasuke that the Hachibi he brought in was a fluke! Apparently the Raikage knows nothing bout that. Hmm. So Sasuke, Madara and the sneaky Zetsu leaf guy penetrates the Samurai Land where the meeting will be held.

Naruto meanwhile, meets up with the Raikage together with Kakashi and Yamato sensei and begs his knees off but Raikage just wouldn't budge. Back in Konoha, Sai reveals Naruto's plans about changing the Raikage's mind to Sakura and the gang. Ino cries like a pig after finding out the Hokage's orders to kill Sasuke. However, Sakura suddenly gets this notion that they were all relying too much on Naruto to bring back the Sasuke they love and she decides to take action on her own.

5 Kages

During the meeting, the Kages just couldn't settle their differences and kept pushing blames and pointing out each others mistakes - stabbing at where it hurts most. The Mizukage had a bad past in relation to the last Mizukage being an accomplice of the Akatsuki. The current Kazekage, Gaara, also took jabs from problems caused by the last Kazekage who conspired along together with Orochimaru to 'take over the world'. Plus, many ridicule him as he is the youngest Kage among the 5 great nations. The Tsuchikage is an old grouch who lost himself after his years of administration. The Raikage is too flustered over news of his missing brother.

Danzo, the Hokage, proposed a temporary truce among the great 5 nations to gather their best weapons and take necessary precautions to oppose the growing-in-power Akatsuki. The neutral land, the Land of Samurais was the middle man and chose Danzo as the head of this temporary truce. The Raikage held many suspicions about Danzo's shady past. It appears later that the middle man who appointed Danzo as head was under a genjutsu by Danzo's abilities.

Zetsu appears in the middle of the meeting, informing the Kages that Uchiha Sasuke was here! Zetsu was testing out Sasuke's abilities under Madara's order. The Raikage immediately ensues attacks onto Sasuke, driven by his anger for his missing brother. Since Sasuke's target was primarily Danzo, Danzo fled the scene. Gaara then joins in the fight with Raikage against Sasuke after his persuasion failed.

GAARA CRIED AS HE FOUGHT SASUKE! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Gaara cries!!! I WEEP WITH HIM!!!! *nosebleeds*

Ahem. Anyway, a heated battle takes place, AND I LOVE THE FIGHTING SCENES FOR THIS PART. It's rare to see the great Kages actually try to work together and get rid of just 2 Uchihas. NYAHAHAHAHA~!!!!

Sasuke awakens the Susanoo that Itachi perfected using two Mangekyo Sharingans. But his chakra was all used up. Sasuke ignored the life and death of both Juugo and Suigetsu and focused only on Danzo. He nearly lost, but Madara comes in and saves Sasuke. According to Madara, "A battle with the Kages will improve his skills." WHAT DOES HE THINK HE'S DOING??!! Does he think this is some kinda funky RPG game?!?!?! FUUUHHHHHHHH!

Ahem once again. XD

Meanwhile, Sakura catches up with Naruto... and the UNEXPECTED HAPPENED.

Guess what?

Fill in the blanks, ppl!! HINT? Sakura confessing her love to Naruto!

"YAYYYYYY! No more Sasuke frenzy nonsense!!" is what you may think but it's disappointing that this was all staged. GAHHHHHHH. Annoying, I know! But for the first time in my TWO years with Naruto-chasing, I actually feel proud for Sakura. She acted like a real woman for the first time in her life! Her intention behind this fake confession is that she wanted Naruto to give up on chasing Sasuke. FOR THE FIRST TIME, ppl, I repeat, Sakura isn't gonna rely on Naruto.

Naruto actually did another REALLY unexpected thing: he downright rejected her!

NEVER HAVE I EVER FELT SO HAPPY READING THE MANGA (besides the time when Naruto actually goes ballistic during his fight with Pein when he found out that Hinata 'died' for him because she loves him. :) Whee~!) because I really dislike Sakura. Sorry, Sakura fans, but her attitude, character, looks, and personality doesn't make me like her one bit. Except for this moment when she herself is going to hunt for Sasuke personally and STOP him even if it meant killing her.

...YAY! (In truth, I just want her dead? XD)

Meanwhile, back at the Kage meeting, with Danzo gone and all, the 4 remaining great Ninja Nations confronts Madara Uchiha. Madara reveals his plan to the Kage: the great Mugen Tsukiyomi (Moon-eye). I take this as a letter of challenge to the Kages, ya know? But Masashi Kishimoto interprets it differently. AHAHAHAHA. Well, he IS the boss. XD

Madara tells of the supposedly legendary "10-Tailed Beast" which can actually be accomplished by gaining the other 9 beasts and merging them as one. In fact, what amount of chakra the tailed beasts have individually is just a fraction of what the 10-tailed beast, Jubi, actually posseses. Years and years ago, the legendary Rikudo Sage, a hero worshipped by the entire world, became a Jinchuuriki of Jubi. He possesed immense power to be able to control the largest chakra beast the world has ever since. And since there is no other person like him in the world that could control Jubi, he separated Jubi's chakra into fragments and the sealing jutsu that the Rikudo Sage once knew was passed down until today.

And Madara's true intention? Is to unite these chakra beasts and obtain the Jubi whole again. All that's left is the 8 and 9 Tail Beast. With Jubi's power, and his Mangekyo Sharingan, he will use Mugen Tsukiyomi to cast a genjutsu alike the moon and control the entire world with an illusion. THAT to him: is the true peace that everyone seeks.

However, the Kages refused to buy this ridiculous idea, since a genjutsu is nothing but an illusion. The Kages refused to surrender the Tailed Beasts and hence, Madara declared the start of another great war: THE 4TH NINJA WAR.

The world now stands on the brink of a devastating display of power of the combination of 7 tailed beasts!! YEAHHHHHHHHH!

Madara leaves, and the 4 remaining Kages form a true truce while electing Raikage as their leader. War against Akatsuki! The Raikage is to protect the 8th Tailed Jinchuuriki while Gaara is assigned to let only Hatake Kakashi know bout these plans rather than Danzo. The Kages, in a way, acknowledged Kakashi!! And they believe that Danzo is a traitor!!! Yippee!

Danzo flees. He meets a Mizukage guard meanwhile, who possesses a Byakugan on his right eye! Danzo decided to take the eye for himself. What is he, an eye collector freak??!! Anyway, he fails, and meets Madara later on. Madara lets Sasuke out to take on Danzo.

What stirred Sasuke's anger the most was that Danzo called Itachi a betrayer for all that he had done for Konoha.

Sasuke uses a powered-up version of Susanoo, one who yields a bow and arrow! But what was more disgusting than that ugly Susanoo was actually: DANZO's ARM.

DISGUSTINGGGGG!

AN ARM WITH 10 sharingans! OMGGGGGGGG! A freaking eye-collector?!!!

To make matters worse, he can use Izanagi, the forbidden Uchiha jutsu??!!! The implantation shows proof of Danzo's association with Orochimaru!

And I have no idea what is the end result of the fight YET, but I'm really thrilled I spent my time reading this! It was worthwhile and thrilling enough for me to blog such a long post about it. NYAHAHAHAHAHA~!
