WE ROCKED GENTING!!!!! (Day 1)

FUHHH. Surprisingly, lately I've been getting many complaints that my blog's too... er, 'inhuman'. HAHAHAHA what the heck! So I'm making up for it by posting up two LONG posts about what mayhem we eight MBS-ians can cause to one place. XD

Us eight monkeys: MYen (later known as Harvard XP), Vin (later known as China brand uncharged battery), Juju (later known as Sleeping Queen), HYing (later known as RAPIST!!! XD), Ama (later known as longkang digali) Apek (later known as ApekMui), Weng Wah (later known as Ji Mui) and myself (fishmerman?!?!?!/penggali longkang?!?!?!) departed for Genting on Wednesday the 5th of May! You know what...? I never knew why I was known as a FISHERMAN, of all things... XD

True to our name as monkeys: we were COMPLETELY rowdy and noisy everywhere we went!! In the bus on the way there, we were already hyper and loud as early as 9am in the morning. HAHAHAHA! Too excited.

DO YOU KNOW THAT HUIYING'S HIGH SCORE IS 1000++ AND MINE WAS A MERE 100++ FOR THE VERY SAME BRAIN TEST GAME?!?!?! What the heck?!?! That's the only game anyone can beat me with such a BIG margin!!! XD

The instant we arrived at First World Hotel, we were entertained by these 2 musicians. AWESOME!!!

Oh yeah, Harvard and Rapist!! You both missed this! Their second song was a Mandarin song that even I couldn't sing.

AMAZING!!! First time I saw 'street magic' performed completely in Mandarin. I thank WWah for translating. WWah!! Next time if you don't have a job come find me and work for me as a Mandarin-English translator. XD

Since we paid heftily for our Indoor wristbands on the first day already, we REALLY, REALLY made sure we enjoyed ourselves to the MAX!


Unfortunately, the 2 most exciting thrill rides inside is the Euro Express and the 4D Motion picture thing. HAHAHAHAHA!!

We sat the Euro Express thing some FOUR times I think, but somehow wasted all our throats away screaming for NO REASON. What's a roller coaster ride without screams, no? Even though it ain't thrilling?!?! We even had this random competition of who screams the loudest wins or something.

Oh yeah!! Winner is Weng Wah!! XD Ama a CLOSE second. Me? I only caused Ju partial deafness. HAHAHAHAHA!! XD

Next up was the FRIGHTENING FERRIS WHEEL. What the heck?!?! This trip really caused me to go traumatised over Ferris Wheels.

... you know why?

HuiYing and co. went on the wheel some TWENTY TIMES!!

AMA and I were so completely traumatised just going ELEVEN rounds on the Ferris Wheel that we kept rocking it in order to make it more thrilling. HAHAHAHA!!

Even lovers would find it boring already... so let us go!! XD

In our boredom we kept singing random songs. HAHAHAHAHA I think all RM21 was already worth it going ELEVEN rounds in this thing.

Btw, the people controlling the Ferris Wheel at the bottom were the ones to determine whether you move or get out, so YEAH. ELEVEN. XD

We also went for this weird Reindeer thing which was slow beyond comprehension. XD HYing darling and I took some nice shots of us though!

As usual, Ama likes to do psycho things at all the wrong times and places. HAHAHAHAHA! Dunno what in the world she was doing here!

I pity you, Vin. XD HAHAHAHAHA you look so sane next to Ama...

These reindeer rides had FAKE PEDDLES! Why put them there when it won't go any faster?!?!?! Grrr....

ANYWAY, we did a buncha things and ended up on this caterpillar monorail thing. See the red words on the glass at the 2nd picture? HAHAHAHA it actually says, bantuan akan datang if we're in trouble or something.


Then Ama and Apek kept crying for help and begging around to evolve to butterflies or something. HAHAHAHA!!

I forgot to mention that we were SCREAMING our school song right outside the window. See how much we love our school?? XD

(It was embarassing that we forgot some of the lyrics. AHAHAHAHAHA! And we were 'toot-tooting' throughout the song. XD)

By the way, it was very misty out there. Whoo-hoo!

Went back to the room after playing around for sometime and after dinner. We scared someone off at Burger King with our rowdiness. HAHAHAHAHA. And then we stole her food! OMG! I quote Vin, "WOW! Ladies of Class lo." HAHAHAHAHA!! Can't help it that Apek had to propose to Ah Wah in such a funny manner!! Using Onion Rings as wedding rings? WOW. I don't even know how that happened... The vid's on FaceBook though. Feel free to laugh! XP

In the room later on: we payed for what we played. HAHAHAHA.

We then watched Ip Man. OMG!! Donnie Yen!!! *love* OWWWWWWW! XD

The audience here in Genting is really amazing! They cheer and clap and whistle when Ip Man wins, the count the countdown together and they boo when the antagonist wins! WOW. I felt really comfortable and at home there! It's the first time I could really, really enjoy watching a movie without people who try to hush things up in a cinema. FUHHHHH!

Try cheering in a cinema in Penang and you get popcorn thrown at you. The worst time was when Wen Lee, Ama and I watched Love is Cinta. A girl actually turned to the back to scold us for saying "Gua bukan Donni!" YEAH. (We then threw popcorn seeds at her. XP)

Sorry, I digress. XD OMG. DONNIE YEN~!!! *love love* Out of complete randomness, Vin was actually screaming, " I WANNA MARRY IP MAN!!" on Facebook last Friday. HAHAHAHAHA


We went for a couple of rides more before the show. Here we went on the Venice boat-like thingy. The three of us were practically disturbing Apek and Wah's honeymoon.

Btw, some random singers were singing the song from Wonder Girls and Wah started dancing and singing. HAHAHAHAHA!! 'I want nobody, nobody but you~' XD

And then 'Where is the Love' was playing and APEK pulak started rapping?!?! FUYOH!!! HYing's crazy phone failed to record that whole crazy moment when Apek was practically confessing his love to Ah Wah. XD HAHAHAHAHAA!! Funny la wei! XD






We then went for another Bumper Car Ride. I think we went on that thing 4 times as well. HAHAHAHAHA!! It was really fun, mind you, when you've got large groups of people out to kill each other.

After watching the 11.15pm show which ended at about 2.05 am in the morning, we went outside to snap a few photos. It's amazing how we wandered around in the thick mist in SHORTS. Hahahaha! By the way, my mismatched red shorts is actually Vin's. XD HAHAHAHAHA. Thanks Vin darling!

And then Ama, WengWah, Apek and I walked throughout Genting, exploring every nook and cranny including.. uh, Indah Water. XD HAHAHAHAHA! The rest followed Harvard back to the room. I'm surprised that Genting's rather quiet at night. Should have had 24 hours entertainment, no?

Whoo-hooo!! And when we went back to our rooms, it was already 3am or something!! Time to go catch some rest before we cause more havoc!! Whee~!!

Gaming Streak Extraordinaire!

Sorry HuiYing darling, but I JUST had to post up an inhuman (uh...?) post once again before I write something human again! That's because...

... I ALMOST FINISHED CRISIS CORE WITHOUT KNOWING IT.

Yeah, the awesomeness of me! XD 2 weeks into playing the game and then coming SO CLOSE to ALMOST finishing it?!?! I've gotta be nuts! XD Good thing I realised it when I somehow got lost at the final chapter. No choice but to refer to an online guide. AHAHAHAHAHA. I got lost at the final chapter just before my last boss fight and I didn't even know the game was going to end! WOW. XD

GAHHHHH! I knew something was up when everyone kept telling Zack, "I have this weird feeling that I'm never gonna see you again. Just kidding!" What the heck. He's really gonna die after this anyway. *sobs*

Zack Fair: NYAAAAAAAAH~!!! Look at those brilliant Mako-infused eyes! *swoons*

I've come to love Zack as the main character SOOOOO much!! He's so un-annoying, unlike Cloud who's utterly useless and hung up on self-depression. Ooooh Zack! *sobs* I WANNA PLAY ZACK SOME MOREEEEEEEEE! (Just like how some Kingdom Hearts fans would prefer so much to play Riku rather than Sora.)

I knew something was up the instant I got assigned on a mission to Nibelheim - FFVII fans will know that Nibelheim is where Sephiroth goes running amok and suddenly turns into a mother-complex evil villain. Oh Zack!! I almost cried just watching Zack being so 'SOLDIER'-ish all honoring his pride and SOLDIER honor carrying a useless Cloud everywhere in order to protect Cloud from these degenerating psychos who want his pure and untainted S Cells. OMG~!!!

*wails and sobs*

To think that the depressing looking Cloud in Advent and Final Fantasy VII was actually CUTE and hopeless once. And man, he's not even in SOLDIER! All he was was an infantry man who was unlucky enough to cross Jenova and Hojo's path! WHOA. :O

I HAVE THIS FEELING I'M GONNA BE SOBBING ALL OVER LIKE A PSYCHOTIC FANGIRL WHEN I'M DONE WITH CRISIS CORE. I'm already emotional enough now, as it is!

Square Enix, why kill Zack?? Why not kill Cloud instead?!?!?! *sobs and wails around*

(Sorry if I'm revealing spoilers to people who have untimely crossed this blog and do not wish to know what happened. XD)

OMG!!! I'm definitely gonna finish it up after I come back from Genting, man. OMG!!!! So near the end without realising it!! How clueless can I be?!?! I'm gonna New Game+ this if there's one or something!! Whoa, awesome!!

AHEM.

Anyway, another crazy, reckless gaming streak would be one where I spent some good, solid 10+ HOURS hunting Yiazmat down. WOW! It's amazing!! I had to escape from battle 3 times to get my items restocked, though. It took me over 200 Ethers, 100s of Remedies, Chronos Tears, X-Potions and Gold Needles. I spent over 200 000 Gil just on items, ya know? X-Potions and Ethers don't come by cheaply. GAHHHH.

And TRAINING just for the Yiazmat battle was just awesome!! Look, look! This one's my LONGEST chain of Lvl. 65 Abysteels in the Henne Mines yet!! BWAHAHAHAAHAHA!!

WHOA!! 235 Chain Battle!! XD

HAHAHAHAHAAHA!! In case you're wondering why there are only 2 people instead of the usual 3 people in my party, well... I've been going at 2 people in a party ever since Balthier hit lvl 85. Ahahaha. Doesn't explain myself very well though, since Balthier is not in this screenshot anyway. Maybe I've hit a point where 2 characters are enough to take on the challenge? XD

Surprising how I cleared the entire Pharos Subterra with only 2 people in a party, though. BWAHAHAAHAHAHA!

(Which would explain why I KO-ed a whole bunch on the outer perimeters of each and every floor... :P)

Yeah, 170 hours into the game already!

Anyway, my main party is something to be proud of, but I'm most definitely NOT proud of Vaan. XP He's my weakest character and I don't quite like the idea of actually using him in combat. If I had a chance to change characters when I roam the city, rest assured I'm not gonna choose Vaan. Too bad he's default! :(

A taste of the Yiazmat battle?

Took me about another half an hour or so to slay him even though he had so little HP remaining. What the heck.

My characters just kept falling like flies despite being above lvl 89. YEAH. It's crazy when Yiazmat hits HP Critical. I mean, DIE already! Ain't it enough that you've got OVER 50 MILLION HP?!?!?! I seriously don't know what they were thinking to make him at 50 MILLION HP. Wow! No wonder it took me 10+ hours, no?

Tears of joy!!! *sobs*

FUH, my back was breaking and my tears where falling like waterfalls when I finally saw this screen. I'm proud of you guys, man! I'm really proud! Go Balthier! You're the man! *sobs*

Remember what I mentioned bout spending 200 000 Gil on Item Preparations? Yeah, at the end of it all, Montblanc awarded me with a mere 50 000 Gil. WOW. I need 4 TIMES that amount. FUHHHHH.

All that trouble was worth it for these screens, though. XD

Montblanc: Kupo-po-po! I have no more hunts to send you on, Kupo! You've vanquished every mark there is to vanquish!

*sobs* WAHHHHHHHHH!!! I'm so proud of myself right now!!!

Omega Mark is just the least of my worries. If you can kill Yiazmat, you'll defintely kill Omega. XD Whee-hoo!! But I'm surprised why Old Dalan refuses to show up in my Sky Pirate's Den. As far as I know, I've walked every INCH of Ivalice and every map is already complete! So why is he still not here? GAH. I guess I'll have to walk all over Ivalice once more... *groans*

As for Ba'Gamman? Tee-hee! Only 50+ more monsters left to hunt! XD A majority of them are rare monsters. GAHHHHH. I think I'll kill the remaining missing Elementals and Entites first....

IF I were to replay FFXII again... HMMM. I'd probably do the 122333 CHALLENGE. You know, the one where characters are all low leveled but you'd complete the game anyway? XD Very hard challenge, but much easier compared to the NO LICENSE BOARD CHALLENGE. Wow! Gaming streak!! XD

Steadily marching towards Order of Ambrosia for now! That has been my Final Fantasy XII goal ever since I killed off The Undying and Vayne Solidor. Whoo-hoo! I'm on an emotional gaming streak!! Too emotional to complete Crisis Core now, though. HAHAHAHAHA

Toaru Kagaku no Railgun - A Review

MAN! I should just convert my entire blog into a rambling anime-game-and-everything-in-between review site! For the past few posts, I've been posting up 5% worth of my life stories and 95% worth of nothing to do with my life ramblings. WOW!

(And before I comment about this random new anime that I found, I'm gonna add here that Final Fantasy Dissidia is mind-blowing!! WHOA!! The battle system is strange, and the concept doesn't appeal much to me at all, but WHAT THE HECK?!?!?! Where else do you get to see SQUALL vs. SEPHIROTH?!?!?! OMG! Where else do you see TIDUS FIGHT ALONGSIDE ZIDANE?!?!?! OMG! The beautiful villians all brought back to life!! However, I don't quite see Jecht's relevance in this. Sure, he's Sin and all but... seeing Jecht is so anticlimatic. I'd rather see the other cute-villian from FFX: Seymour. Ahahaha. Imagine my shock seeing Edea come back to life and Kuja too. XD)

My Eyes are Chasing: To Aru Kagaku no Railgun!!!

Okay, so about this show To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. A very strange English title, which after translation reads as A Certain Scientific Railgun. Yeah. Doesn't make sense? XD The series ended just last month!! Pretty new, I guess~ XD Though... I'm really kinda proud to have found it, because it's the least ECHHI/HENTAI thing that I've watched for the past few months. And it actually possesses some SUBSTANCE. THANK GOD!

(If you need an example of recent anime I've watched which were... IMMODEST, yeah, titles include Seikon no Qwaser - breasts... *sighs* and Dance in the Vampire Bund - about stripping vampires *sighs*. AND I'm surprised that even GINTAMA has strangely dirty jokes. I thought the target audience were kids?!?!?! Apparently not. Jokes which were all extremely funny, though. HAHAHAHA XD)

(What more watching all that Junjou Romantica and Iroku Irokoi Romantan... Ahahahaha XD)

So YEAH, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. Interesting fictional places, well-thought out plots, great storyline... but the only setback? ...Girl-girl relationships! Ain't exactly my cup of tea (at all, I might add... you know I prefer boy-boy stuff XD) but I'm proud to say that it doesn't spoil the action too much. Yeeeeee-hawwww!

ANYWAY, the story revolves around students in a city called Academy City where technology is 10X greater than technology in any other city in the world. And the pull here in this city is not just the level of education or how safe the city is for students (which you will see later on that security is actually the biggest flaw... *sweatdrops*) but students who enroll here: can cultivate supernatural powers. Majority of students, though - but not all.

Each student's abilities are measured by LEVELS, from 0 up to 5, which is the highest. Level 0 students are normal students who do not possess abilities. AND in the whole city, there are only 7 Level 5 users who can exhibit CRAZY powers - and we are lucky enough that the 3rd ranked Level 5 user in Academy City is our lead character, Misaka Mikoto! She is the ultimate Electromaster manipulating electricity. XD

Misaka Mikoto: She has a strange charm about her that draws the audience to her.

She puts up a tough front, but is actually into childish kiddy stuff. And unlike boastful high leveled ability users, she's MODEST. Her powers are nothing to belittle either. She is a genius of hard work, rather than a natural. Pretty smart for a 2nd year middle-schooler too. The perfect kinda bishie if she were one. BOOOOOO!!!!!!

Her nickname by the way is 'The Railgun'. Which is why the title has the word Railgun, I guess?

You know what? Things would be MUCH, MUCH better if Misaka were a boy instead. GAHHHH. Cos there's this girl called Shirai who's all lesbian-y over Misaka. Disgusting :( (Let me add that Shirai tends to act all hentai-ish in front of Misaka.)

DARNNNNNNN! Just when you THOUGHT you found a good anime, a girl shows up and destroys everything!

An example of a light ecchi moment would be like this:

To explain things... Shirai oftens misuses her Level 4 Teleporting abilities to sneak up on Misaka. Annoying! Thank goodness Misaka rejects her with a whack to the head or a good electric shock to her brain. GAHHHHHHH.

IT SPOILS THE SHOWWWWWWWWW!!! *cries*

Ahem! Still enjoyable despite the girl-girl nonsense... XD

The Level Upper arc in this series really caught my attention because of this professor.

A genius! A real genius!

Look at her eyes!! I was so caught up in this arc because...



... HER EYES REMINDED ME OF LELOUCH LAMPEROUGE WHOM I MISS SO MUCH FROM CODE GEASS. One day, I'm gonna get the entire Code Geass R2 series. God knows why I do not have it! GRRRRRR.

This anime also has some degree of erm... intelligence in it which requires some complex computer-ing stuff. It all feels believable, ya know? The fighting scenes should be lauded, because the girls fight with brains rather than brawns. Which is interesting.

Now that I think of it, this anime kinda reminds me of Darker than Black!! Ability users, fighting for what they believe in and awkward justice! YEAHHHH. To Aru Kagaku no Railgun features this group of people known as Judgment, whose job is to protect peace in a city full of ability users.

All in all, fuse in School Rumble, Girls' High, Ichigo 100%, Darker than Black and a tinge of Code Geass = To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. Interesting and watchable! Bishounen hunters should severely avoid this series though. You're all gonna get seriously disappointed. AHAHAHAHAHA XD

My ratings? 6.5/10
However... If Misaka were a boy? 9/10

After the long wait... I'VE FINALLY BOUGHT IT!!!!!!

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! After all the hard toiling at work for 3 months working my fingers to the bone... I've finally earned enough money to get a...

(I actually have enough to get a PS3 or a Wii or an XBox 360, but I got a PSP instead. Do you know how much the price of the PSP has risen to? OMGGGGGG)

RPG HEAVEN IN MY HOUSEEEEEEE!! OMGGGGGG!!!

And I was overwhelmed after I bought it that I immediately went to sleep right after I came home from buying it. Can you believe that? I didn't even bother to go check out Sephiroth's beauty on Crisis Core until this morning when I woke up at 8.30am. (OVEREXCITED. Couldn't sleep. XD)

And my, oh my. SEPHIROTH IS HAAAAAAAAAWTTTTT!!! (Probably I haven't seen him for a long, long time?) (To add to that, the PSP's graphics are AWESOME, making Sephiroth look all the hotter. OMG!!!! The scenes look exactly like they're plucked out of Advent Children. OMGGGG!!! SEPHIROTH!!!!)

(Almost cried, playing Crisis Core. Yeah, I'm THAT overwhelmed, see?)

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core

OMG Zack looks awesome!!! And the graphics totally blowed my head off while I was screaming, "WOWWWWW!" NYAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Did I say the PSP was an RPG heaven??? OMGGGGGGGGG!!!!! Some other titles that are out for play on the PSP (and I have bought) include:

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology

OMGGGGGGGG!!!! It's been so long since my disc disaster with Tales of the Abyss (but somehow successfully completing it) I GET TO PLAY RADIANT MYTHOLOGYYYYY!!!! OMGGGGG!!! I haven't bought Phantasia, Eternia and whatever Tales of title yet, but I'm starting with this one first. OMGGGGGGGG!!!

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions

OMGGGGGG!!! (I dunno what Tactics is about) but online reviews about Tactics is very, very convincing!!! GAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness

More Disgaea for Disgaea fans!! Never played it before even though it's out on the PS2, but I'll give it a shot anyway. Looks thoroughly interesting~!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA

Mana Khemia: Student Alliance

I LOVED Atelier Iris but the PS2 versions of Mana Khemia were a little too.... disappointing? I dunno, I didn't quite like the alchemy system in Mana Khemia 2 on the PS2 and my Mana Khemia 1 DISC on the PS2 couldn't even make it to the first save point. So yeah, whatever.

But the PSP titles for the 1st Mana Khemia is different!! This one is Student Alliance but the PS2 one is Fall of Alchemy (was it? Or was it the Alchemists of Al-Revis? Oops. Haven't played for some time. XD). So I'll give the PSP version a shot.

Final Fantasy: Dissidia

Yet again, I dunno what this Dissidia's about. XD

I somehow saw some very familiar faces on the cover and I thought: GET IT. (Do you see Tidus (FFX), Zidane(FF9), Squall (FF8), Cloud (FF7) and the main characters for the earlier FFs that I haven't played before? This is awesome!!! XD) Dissidia is for multi-ply via the Net. Whoo-hoooo!!! Next, I've gotta make my router at home work to make my house completely Wi-Fi!! Whoo-hooo!! Then I can use the PSP to play online stuff!!!

My mum was complaining that I got too many RPG games. XD BWAHAHAHAHAHA. But mum, I can't play a 2 player game unless I'm Wi-Fi(ed)!!!! NYAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! And the PSP is food for an RPG gamer's soul!!!!! (My mum also complains that I spend too much time playing FFXII. She prefers that I play Harvest Moon... she likes veggies. XD)

(Btw, my mum's right since my hours on the FFXII timer has already hit 150!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!! Thanks to Phon Coast, Elder Wyrm and the Excalibur, of course!)

GOD I love this dude's post bout Muhyiddin and Najib! It's exactly the same way I would put my opinion into Muhyiddin's recent brilliant statement.

You know, when I first read Chuck's Plurk, I thought it was some kind of April Fool's prank to fool the gullible. Imagine my shock when I saw THAT on the front cover of the not-so-streamline newspapers! WOW!

Yup. I believe that our dear politicians have succeeded in outdoing all the previous bull with this obvious ridicule of the very 1Malaysia concept so many other people are trying to foster and embrace.

While the rakyat at least attempt to converge together by accepting one another rather than mere tolerance - MAN, these empty vessels just had to step in irrationally and blurt out the most hypocritical statement concerning 1Malaysia to date. Kudos, man. Kudos.

Fine then, if the DPM says so... let's all put our needs first and forget about Malaysia because Malaysia's not primary importance! Yeah! I shan't go for NS to protect my country, I'm too busy trying out the new 3D PS3! 'Cos I'm selfish and that's the lesson I learnt today. Whee~!

The plain fact is that:

1. 1Malaysia is proven to be a hollow concept.

2. Politicians are hypocrites.

Politicians need to realise that this statement is extremely contradicting and that they need to seriously justify their positions and make up for their mistakes.

You know what? I'm disappointed. I was a fool to think that things could turn around for the better with what fantastic leadership we've got here.

I guess I should have known that all this talk about 1Malaysia was nothing but a passing fad; an empty concept, and an unreachable dream that'll never turn into reality.

HAPPY APRIL'S FOOL. PM & DPM managed to completely fool us with their 1Malaysia. Whee-hoo~!!
