One of the many firsts - Jerejak!

First off, I know I'm lame and all - being a Penangite but never once setting foot on Jerejak island for the past 20 years. MUAHAHAHAHAHA. But my first time there was nothing short of fantastic! It was a great moment for fellowship and one of utmost fun and adventure! WHEEEEEEE~!!

VINNY TAN, JUJU, APEK, HUIYING, AMA, MRS BLACK AND AH WAH.
WHEN YOU GUYS ARE AROUND IN PENANG THIS SEMESTER BREAK, I'M DRAGGING YOU GUYS OVER THERE TO MAKE SOME NOISE. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

And now, time for photos! Well, these were taken from Audrey's camera only since both Derek and Tien Hui are yet to upload anything *HINT HINT HINT* XD

Woke up at 7.00am - great start to a great day!

Lily darling and I at the Jerejak jetty *insert hugs here* Enjoyed the great view of the sea! Penangites tend to take things for granted. XD
(Still looking fresh, eh? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA)

In the ferry heading to Jerejak. Wheeeee~! I actually didn't experience motion sickness! WOW! God is great. :)

During jungle trekking. PHEWWWWW. I still remember our guide teaching us to identify the Tongkat Ali plants. MUAHAHAHAHAHA.

Guess who we met? Our poisonous green friend! This was during jungle trekking. Not bad, eh? How lucky to have met one!

*insert hugs and kisses here*
Loving every moment of my CG outing :)

Tired but excited faces after jungle trekking.

The beautiful view of the suspension bridge :)
Lesson of the day: Never hop onto the suspension bridge when Tien Hui/Michael/Audrey/Jessica are on it.

That's me yelling, "ARSENAL!" in mid-air. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
It was my first time on the Flying Fox and it was great! Too bad it was too short for me to fully feel scared. But I know someone who was scared then and really showed it. *hint hint hint emily* XD

OMG!!! WALL CLIMBING!!! It was amazingly difficult for first-timers (like me).
I kinda regretted not making that final step to reach the top. GAHHHHH. ONE STEP AWAY - but my muscles gave up on me.
On a side note: I couldn't even hold my chopsticks properly to dig in to my Maggi Mee that night. Random. XD

My favourite group photo!

At the end of the day.
We all had a great time and were leaving with heavy hearts.
(stopped by QBay to eat McD, though. BWAHAHAHAHAHA)

And at night, I went to my first church service at EPCC. It was moving and the feeling of just being there (despite my fatigue-had a hell of a week :S) was amazing. And I realised how true it was that moments spent with God are those of refreshing times. Felt so revitalised when the Spirit's in the house! XD

Am looking forward to more fun-filled CG events! What's so great is that we truly are one big family united under God as our Head. It's totally... Wheeeeeeeeee~! XD

BBQ Steamboat - Made Ourselves!

Had an awesome time with my very very reliable, effective and fast-planning Bio coursemates on the last day before the one week long CNY break!

At first, I just kinda randomly invited everyone to join in on a bbq steamboat thing on Thurs evening. And the event was planned for FRIDAY. HAHAHAHAHA. Yeah, random. XD But suddenly, OWL had this great idea to make their own bbq steamboat! Imagine my surprise that it took them only 2 hours to plan out such a fantastic dinner. Every little thing was done ourselves. WOW. It simply was fun! :)

Plus, not to mention: the event was graced by their very own Bakti Idol. WAHAHAHAAHAHA.

(from the way I'm writing, you'll know that I'm actually lazy to blog, but instead, I'll spam my own wall with some photos of the night. XD I'm a total pig after CNY.)

Jun Shan and OWL by the bbq pit. SO CREATIVE LA ALL OF THEM. WOW!

The 2 roommates whose only contribution was eating. XD

Our BBQ chef of the day! THANK YOU.

All the crazy girls...?

... I know Mania likes this pic of Leong. HAHAHAHAHA.

The guys with... OMG! Bakti Idol! XD

PengX2 and PowX2 ;P

Woei Sheng - staring more than helping? XD
More useful than me anyway. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAA

The whole gang altogether! :) *insert love here*

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. We should have more Bio gang gatherings + outings!!

....so, when's the next one?

Shedding Tears

Ever since I was a kid, I've always hated the fact that I was a crybaby. I would cry at every small random poke that my godbrothers nudged at me. I would cry that they ate the last ice cream in the fridge. I would cry when they built that treehouse at the back without ever once involving me.

But however big a crybaby I was, I always let the tears flow only when I'm in solitude. They run only in the comfort of the pitch black wardrobe. Or in the dusty lair under the bed. I even had a perfect corner at the edge of the room in which I would silence those tears so much that the atmosphere stays perfectly still as I cried.

I grew up, but I never changed. In fact, I hate that people can publicly cry - drowning in their delusive thoughts of imperfection - or just crying for no reason at all. I hate that some people think that letting tears flow would gain them love and affection - especially gaining attention from those who pretend to comfort you when they actually delight at the sight of your fall.

No matter how sad - despite in times of mourning - I hate to cry in front of those I love so dearly. Tears down the already tense atmosphere and they can never do anything to help improve the situation.

I hate it - that tears show the weakness in your heart. I hate it - that those tears are the very reason you are ridiculed. Embarrassed. I hate it that I can do nothing when you cry.

But then - I cry a lot these days. Even yesterday. But only in Your presence.
And I LOVE IT that I cry then. :)

Weeping in the presence of the Lord is a whole different story altogether. The tears that spring to life whenever I praise You, Lord - are those of joy. Those tears that I shed, I do not hold back for I am not embarrassed that You have touched me. Weeping in your presence reminds me that I am filled with the Spirit. And that You have filled me with joy to such an extent that that heavy burden upon my shoulders are shed along with the natural spring in my eyes.

I weep in joy to know that I am saved. And that I am forgiven despite the infinite sins that I've committed throughout my lifetime. And that every imperfection and every weakness of mine is healed in Your presence. I cry in the truth and the revelation that has been spoken to me. Most importantly, I weep in joy that I am LOVED; infinitely, unconditionally.

Acts 2:28

I am stronger now. But only because You have lent me strength. And showed me what it means to love.

Family

Awww. It's true. It's a whole different light, love and affection when the Lord is the head of the family.

A Candlelight Dinner with Huiying - READ THAT, VINNY TAN. XD

VINNNNNNY TAN! How dare you leave your beloved here for a trip back to my HOMETOWN?! How could you not bring me back to my birthplace?! OMG! Better get a gay-boyfriend for me when you come back. You owe me that much, at the least. BWAHAHAHAHAHA XD

Anyhow. The candlelight dinner... XD

THERE REALLY WAS A CANDLE ON THE TABLE, YA KNOW.

Sorry Huiying for an overdue post on our romantic dinner at Salsas. The solitary strolls we took by the sea. Our faces brimming with joy as we cruise down Upper Penang Street. Our leisurely moments at the E&O Hotel.

... uh, now. That just sounds wrong. BWAHAHAHAHAAHA

THE MOST PERFECT SHOT WE TOOK after like... 8 tries?!?! BWAAHAHAHAHA! And this one only has a partial part of my head.

FINALLY, a better shot took in the TOILET. As always. Gays just love toilet shots. Taken well enough that there are no toilet bowls in the picture. BWAHAHAHAHA

Feeling the ambiance through and through. MUAHAHAHAHA! I LOVE Smoky Jacks'!

HuiYing looks cute sitting in that cocoon thingy. MUAHAHAHAHA

HuiYing by the sea. VERYYYYYYY cuteeeeee! See what the sign says below:

... see what I mean by cute? XD XD XD

The places where our memories were etched *insert hearts here*

This dinner between the both of us was very 'the kam tung'. MUAHAHAHAHA. Particularly because Huiying told me this: I just came back from Singapore and you're the first friend I went out with. AWWWWWWWWWW(s). Ain't we sweet?

As usual, we crapped a whole lot, and ruined all the romantic spots for those pitiful lovers who clearly chose the wrong place and time to be near us during their most intimate moments. BWAHAHAHAAHAHA. Sorry. XD

Had a great time with ya, darling! I hope to spend more time with my other darlings. But then again, I'm going back to start my new sem on the 27th of December. NOOOOOOOOO..! 4 weeks of holidays just flew by like that! OMG! Am thoroughly worried whether or not I did good enough to PASS my first sem examinations. BWAHAHAHAAHA. Pray I guess...? XD

AND SO LET US MEET UP EVEN MORE! TEE HEEEEEE~!

Ooooh. An early XMas wish for all you dear readers out there! The GOT loves you all loads. MUAHAHAHAHA :) *hugs and kisses*

Naruto Spoilers Chapter 515 and beyond

OMIGOSHHHHHH NARUTOOOOOO *fangirl shrieks*

SPOILERS START HERE
CHAPTER 515 AND BEYOND

Naruto's storyline is really, really expanding up to a stage now where words cannot explain how exhilarating the story is becoming to be. OMG! It sends chills down my spine just seeing how different the whole story is at the beginning compared to how it is now.

Naruto started all funny and ridiculous; childish and immature, all centering about a mischievous boy whose dreams seemed impossible to achieve - to become the next Hokage.

Naruto's memorable antics! AWWWWWW

BUT. Tell me how Naruto evolved into THIS today?!

TODAY, the story centers about the great Ninja War to protect the final Jinchuuriki from the hands of Akatsuki who intends to dominate the world.

.... OMG.

The start of the Fourth Ninja War! OMGGG!

Gaara - Captain Commander General of the Offensive Force. OMGGGGGG!

AND THE HIGHLIGHT of it all: Gaara's touching speech that moved me to tears!! *sobs like a lunatic* OMGGGGGGGG

GAARA'S GROWN UP SO MUCHHHHHH!! BUT I STILL LOVE YOU REGARDLESS!!! GAAAAAARAAAAAAA! *sobs and wails like a mad fangirl*

*sobs and cries some more*

NARUTO's just awesome! Unlike SOME manga in which their orange-coloured hero turned SOOOOO ultimately cool that the mangaka themselves do not know what to make of it later on. Hmmmmph.

Reflections of A Past Sem

OMGtimefliesbysoquicklyiamstillcluelessastowhatihavebeendoingOMG

I was lazy and I played more than I studied but STILL - I survived the first sem! YAY! (although I may say differently when my results come out) XD It has been a very fun and eventful journey so far, both physically and spiritually - but I feel that I have adapted well to USM! I'm proud of myself being a 'banana' and still surviving. Wheeeeee~!

(I also found a whole lot of other bananas in which I feel very comfortable with. BWAHAHAHAHAHA)

And since SO many things happened and I am as usual too lazy to write a whole long blog post about it, I shall post up pictures instead. BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

In short, what happened this past semester:

a) I went for the best camp ever! Kem Pimpin Siswa!

Didn't bathe for 3 days straight, had the craziest facilitator, met so many funnily crazy people, swam across a lake and surprisingly cooked edible food! Really missed those camp moments! XD

b) Met my crazy roommate! OMG!

I am very surprised as to how I could tolerate her SIAUNESS. OMG. And you know what? SHE LOVES ME SOOOOOOO MUCH but is just too shy to ever say it out. You may read her blog and see her wonderful affection for me. BWAHAHAHAHA

I'm kinda glad that we share so many things in common: Scorpio zodiac. Naruto. Fairy Tail. Verruckt-ness. Passion for spicy food. Awwwwww. PowPow must love me even more now~ :)

c) Met a whole lot of fun coursemates! (minus Mei Cheng, though. BWAHAHAHAHA)

Love you guys! Mania! Miki! Didi! Ziq~! Including all those not in the picture like Wan Yin! KhoiKhoi! CC! Syaza! Hikmah! Wei Lian! Leong!

My crazy English class gang: Bronwyn! Kok Ming! Edward! Nehlah! PengPeng! Thank God our torturous times with HER are over. Will be looking forward to our next English class together! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I extend my thanks to Raz for saving me a few thousand times when it comes to lecture notes and past year questions. I skip lectures - and he skips DOUBLE the lectures I skip - and yet he's LESS BLUR than me?!?!?! How'd you know what's going on in lectures anyway? Teach me some techniques for the next sem! BWAHAHAHAHAHA

d) Watched a whole lot of Naruto Shippuden.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Must go to PingYing's room more often next semester! XD

e) ATE A LOT.

Here's our Bazaar Ramadhan during the Puasa month. OMG. I ate like a siau po that whole month.

f) Stalked pretty boys!

*nosebleeds and dies*

g) Scribbled on people's Wall. (I wrote: ARE YOU SCARED?!?!) XD

Not just in Facebook but on REAL walls too. Audrey seems to love it though. :P BWAHAHAHAHA. Should have taken a photo of your wall more recently! Since that one's got traces of Stephanie, Jess and Fong Wan's love for you. XD

h) Won a pen from my beloved BM lecturer! (best speaker kononnya. BWAHHAHA)

Totally love my BM lecturer. Her marking is very strict and all but she's young and fun! She's almost never nervous but when she IS - it's hilarious! XD

i) Found a new brother, Didi~!

This brother of mine shares my passion for horror flicks! YAYYYYYYY!

j) Sold myself - EH, sold things. Oops.

WUS-ing around. Mania and I just couldn't sell off PowPow's hairband. CHEH.

k) Went broke! That's pretty normal, eh?

l) Whoooooo-hooooo! Played a whole lot too!

(So much that I forgot to bathe after that. XD)

m) Stole lots of things from Audrey/Jess. HAHAHAHAHA

n) Lost count of the number of Slurpee(s) I had. Oh my.

Do note the taste: CHEESE CAKE SLURPEE. OMG.

o) Went out so many times - no wonder I went broke!

I love these CF pals! Most of them are bananas - making me feel SOOOOO at home. XD

p) Celebrated the Lantern Festival! Wheeeeee~

We walked in the dark and my lantern nearly caught fire. As expected of the blur queen here. XD There were international students from India who joined us in the celebration. REALLY had fun playing the games that Abel organised!

q) Fooled around with the uh, Poothu in the examination hall!

Which is why I would most probably be dead when results are out. OMG. Kill me.

Overall - it has been a very enjoyable first semester! I'll never ask for anything more than this. AWWWWWWW. XD Love all of you who made my first semester here what it was. *inserts hugs here* XD

(And Khoi! Better start teaching me Mandarin! XD)
